Dragon Tiger Yin & Yang Tattoo Cake

This cake was designed by me. It is for twin boys (well young men really) – they are 21!
It’s a representation of their tattoos. Jared has a red Dragon Tattoo and Jamie has a blue Tiger tattoo. They also have MOKO (Maori Body carving) on their back and shoulders which are half on each of them so when they stand together, it completes the design.
They also follow Buddhism so their mum wanted to get a Buddha chocolate mold for their 21st, but I told her not to worry, I would hand make it for them on the top of the cake.
The 2 gold keys represent their 21st.

The lower tier is a double 8 inch cake which stood about 11 inches tall! It’s the first time I have covered and ganached such a tall cake. I am challenging myself daily!

I loved making this cake as there are lots of elements that are close to my heart too.
