Y’all know I like to mess around with buttercream. It’s a challenge to try to create textures similar to fondant designs – but a challenge I really have grown to love! I really wanted to try to make this cake pretty and classic but in a slightly modern way. So I piped the ruffles in a geometric pattern on the bottom double barrel just to make it a little different. Topped with a black painted gumpaste flower and fondant pearl strands. Thanks for looking! <3 Shannon
