One particular dress caught my eye so I emulated it in cake. The gold is hand painted onto the black. I was intending to use isomalt gems on the cake & tiara, but I tried 3 times & they kept melting into a sticky mess! Grrrr! So I made cake lace sequins for the cake & used real rhinestones on a gumpaste tiara.

The cake is Red Velvet with Oreo buttercream filling & dark chocolate ganache.
