Here is a display cake I recently made for an exhibition. The sequins on the bottom layer were all cut by hand from gumpaste and are 3 different sizes. They were then stuck on to build up layers and obtain texture.
The dragonfly is also made from gumpaste.
I hope you like it as it was my first attempt at a sequin cake.
