'Belle of the Ball' in Luxurious Cornelli Lace and Pearls
This Beverley Way Collection design presents four elegant fondant-covered stacked oval cakes. Lacey hand-piped royal icing has been applied to the exposed surface of each tier using the Cornelli icing technique. The hand piped beaded scroll pattern increases in width down the front of the cake, increasing with each larger tier. String beads have been applied to royal icing beading to create each scroll, and to accent the transition between tiers. Paper templates were utilized to mark each scroll onto the cake sides.
This design changes remarkably in personality with variations in icing colors, combinations and topper decor. It is extremely durable for transport as a whole, but will require assistance when lifting as four large layers of any type of cake will be heavy.
