This was probably the heaviest cake I’ve ever made. The bottom tier plus one other was carrot. Every tier was ganached.Then there was the double height tier that my family were calling the “bomb”. What the final weight was I don’t know but it was too heavy for two of us to carry completely stacked.
The bride decided on the design simply by looking at cakes on my web-site and taking different elements from various cakes, such as the lace, diamantes, fantasy flowers and even the colour.
