My little Man loves the Turtles and his favourite Ninja character is Donatello. At first I thought I’d make a basic round/ square cake and make the sugar figurines and stick them on top. BUT where is the fun in that hey??? Too easy (hee). So I thought I’d challenge myself. With all the gravity defying cakes floating around cyber space and since I had not done anything such as this I simply had to try my luck and if I did not work there was always plan B – ice cream cake!

Donnie’s Body s is a dense Chocolate Mud. His Head and Shell is carved Styrofoam. The whole cake has an internal structure. Its arms and legs have been moulded using Rice Bubbles and Marshmallow. The whole cake stood 25.5” (65cm). I air brushed the cake to give it character.
