After waiting a couple of years for the chance to make a tea pot cake, my own lovely Mum commissioned me for one. This was for my Mum’s mate, a lover of antiques and the finer things in life, so we chose a Royal Doulton design. Hand painted woodland rose design, a bit of brush embroidery over the blossoms, marshmallow fondant to cover and a spray of clear glaze for that sublte fine china shine. great fun :D
