My nephew has just celebrated his 21st birthday and has never had a proper birthday cake due to multiple allergies over the years – thankfully only eggs and nuts now.
So this was his 21st cake with an eggless chocolate bottom tier and eggless vanilla top tier. Three layers in each filled with salted caramel buttercream and covered in Belgium chocolate ganache.
His Mum gave me some ideas – he lives fishing, surfing, playing the drums, West Brom…..beer and lying around in bed……so 4 out of 6 not bead!
Went for a silhouette theme and had fun with my new printer too.
He was totally blown away – and the chocolate cake was voted the best ever by everyone, so may have to make more!
