Hello, this is a farewell, maternity leave cake. The brief was something to do with a baby cake and an orangutan as the recipient is a red head and her nickname it Ranga. So I thought OK a baby orangutan and a baby’s bottle. Moist chocolate cake, choc buttercream and fondant. The orangutan is RKT, I made her abit to big and had to amputate it’s arms and legs to fit on the board with the cake. She wouldn’t win a beauty contest that’s for sure but Ranga absolutely love her. By the way if you didn’t notice, she’s having a girl.
