A bright and happy birthday cake for a lovely happy lady who’s party was 60,70s and 80s fancy dress so I made the cake to reflect her and her birthday theme. 60s for her outfit – digging those kinky boots! 70s called for either a Chopper Bike or Space Hopper…and you can’t have a party without music so of course there was a Boombox from the 80s! All of that at the request of the birthday girl on top of a Vanilla Bean sponge filled with homemade redcurrant jam and buttercream and covered in vanilla fondant.
