This is the first of this weekends wedding cakes. vanilla, chocolate mud cake, red relvet and fruit cake. I was lucky to be given some creative licence to put together the cake in any way I wanted within the colour scheme. Also first time delivering two cakes in one day..never again. Racing down the M1 doing 89mph with two cakes in the back of my mini (shaking like a one man earthquake) was more stress than i think i can take…as was two 4 tier wedding cakes (both with different flavour in each tier) in one week – while holiding down a day job and trying entertaining a little boy in the school holidays (and failing miserably) and not getting more than 4 hours sleep each night…why do we do it to ourselves? I think i need a cake break.
