My first traditional wedding cake! The bride and groom needed to feed 250 guests so the biggest challenge with this commission was the sheer volume of cake! As well as the 4 tiered cake (12" red velvet, 10" lemon, 8" carrot, 6" coffee), they also ordered FIVE 8" cutting cakes in red velvet, coffee, carrot, lemon and vanilla. By the end of the week there wasn’t a surface in the house that didn’t have a cake on it! The wedding ceremony and reception were being held in the Glasshouse at Wisley Gardens, so the bride and groom chose rainbow butterfly decoration to reflect that.
Here’s a pic of the cutting cakes – not much to look at, but I was proud of their uniformity :)
Thanks for looking :) x

So, so pretty! And I love the way you’ve labelled the cutting cakes.
