A two-tier wedding cake made for Giusi Cavallaro prior to her actual wedding in Italy.
Based on a costume design by British designer Dolly Tree for a show in Paris in the early 1920s, it features a bottom tier with lavender side pleats, light green over pleated side drapes pinched at the end, flowers in bright dark pinks, blues and purples with fabric effect leaves. Top tier with tiffany pearls (from a wonderful mould by FPC Sugarcraft) on the side topped with a black vase and a bunch of pale green sugar feathers edged with dark pink and lavender.
