This was a lemon cake filled with lemon curd buttercream. I was sent a picture by my client, who loved the design – unfortunately, I don’t know who was the original maker – but thank you for the inspiration. I changed it a bit by adding a sparkling ribbon and wafer paper flowers.

I covered the entire cake with sparkling sugar, which made it glisten under the lights!
