Decided to push myself with this cake for my mother-in-law :) So, first attempt at brush embroidery and my first attempt at a peony. I chose to make the board lime green as it is her favourite colour, and the Peony is said to be an omen of good fortune, prosperity and happiness :) Inside it was a triple chocolate cake with cornish fudge.
