I have been always wanting to do an old story book themed cake. Finally the opportunity came this weekend in the form of Anoushka’s 1st birthday. Initially though of doing this as a 2 tiered cake, but then it struck me – Wouldn’t it be nice to do this as a story book where the characters popped out of the page. Wanted to incorporate the 100 acre woods where POOH and his friends usually hang out. All of this cake is edible and all the characters are hand crafted. Check out the expressions on each of the characters -
Winne the Pooh, who loves to do silly things
Eeyore, the extremely gloomy donkey
Tigger, the bouncy, electrifying character
& Piglet – the brave one with a diminutive size

This cake had two flavors, half mango & half chocolate/raspberry cream.
