This cake was for my lovely niece and nephew who were married at the weekend. They both love to travel and wanted to incorporate this into their cake in a traditional style with vintage twist.

The map around the cake was an exact print used on their wedding invitations, the Dendobrium Orchids and purple Stocks matched the brides bouquet, the map vintage bunting matched the room decoration and the vintage case carried on the travel theme.

The ruffle base, pearl quilted top tier and Mr & Mrs luggage tag give a vintage feel with the diamante topper to personalise.

The 2nd tier is double depth to give the height of a 5 tier cake. I loved making this one and love the end result and how it matched the day and decor perfectly.
