This was a joint birthday cake I made for my mother-in-law and nan-in-law just over a week ago. It was my first go at making roses. I based the jug on a simple white jug we have in our kitchen.

When my husband showed his nan, she just said “Oh, that’s nice.” So he said to her “Do you know it’s a cake Nan?!” to which she replied “WHAT?!!! It’s a cake?!!” And that made my day! ;-)
