My eldest’s favourite teacher, Miss Penny, was leaving for 6 month long service leave. Such a wonderful and caring teacher who really supported and encouraged my daughter. To show her how much we appreciate her, I made her this watercolour magnolia cake. A white chocolate an raspberry mud cake filled and covered in dark choc ganache, and hand painted water colour. Both the watercolour technique and the magnolia flower were the first times I’ve ever used/made, I think it turned out a treat. Hope you enjoy.
