Two of my friends whom I’ve known since elementary school are soon to be new parents! The baby’s nursery is decorated in the theme of Carter’s Forest Friends, so that’s the inspiration for this cake!

A little out of my usual designs, this is my second attempt at carving cake (other than a dome or egg shape), so he came out a little boxy. I know some of you are amazing at sculpted cakes, so I welcome and appreciate any tips you have for me :) I think my next big cake investment will be a sculpted cake class because this was such a fun cake to do!
