Chalkboard design, apparently is the new cake trend I guess! And when I was asked to do a proposal cake, I was like ok, I can finally do a chalkboard design. I was given free reign to this design, and this time, I decided not to use sugar flowers, instead something new which I have not try before… a wafer rolled rose. Pretty easy and pretty happy with it. What fear me most is actually the freestyle handwriting… but all thanks to Ivone from Sugar Penguin Cakery for all the tips!! (wrink wrink)

So, will the girl say yes? I hope she will!!! :)
