The design was based on one of my cakes I have made in past but we matched the lace pattern with the lace on the bride’s dress. It was a real pleasure meeting the lovely couple who truly love cake! :-) Lace was made with a brush embroidery technique with a hand piped overlay. Flavours were fresh ginger cake with lime buttercream, almond & orange cake and lemon drizzle cake with passionfruit filling.
