This is the first double barrel cake I have ever covered and I have to admit that it is not an easy task. It took me three attempt to finally get a decent (not perfect) finish. For this cake I went back to one of my favorite techniques, which is brush embroidery. It is time consuming work but very relaxing. I added the upside down ruffles to give it a more contemporary look. Hope you like it!!
