Stephanie is a special girl that lives in my community. Stephanie’s brother has cancer and the family has been battling all year to help him. As you can imagine there is little time and finances for anything else. Stephanie’s mom wanted to make her 10th birthday special. When we found out we wanted to help. She loves make up, high heels, bling, purple, pink and green. We had only 1 weeks notice and I had never made a shoe before. I did not have a template or punches. I used styrofoam and my daughters blocks to try to hold it up as it dried. At about 2:30 am I broke the cake!!! We had to start from scratch. My first all nighter since college. 😁 Fortunately I saved the shoe. What a night!! But in the end Stephanie got her cake and it was all worth it.
You did a fabulous job after such a disaster! Looks like you have prepared for weeks for this cake! Stunning cake, love the details and your shoe is awesome! Perfect job on a perfect cake!
