“Jimmy met a young girl by the name of Emily Crook while he was working in a local cafe. Emily was undergoing treatment for a brain tumor when he first met her and during that time he saw her go downhill quickly.

Emily has fought Cancer many times over the course of her very short life, going in and out of hospital since she was 3 years old. Emily sadly passed away a week before her ninth birthday from a brain tumor.
Ever since hearing this tragic news Jimmy has wanted to do something to help a children’s cancer charity.

His idea started as a little walkathon around his home city of Adelaide but has always said “If you’re going to do something, make it big”. So from then he started planning a mammoth walk around Australia to raise funds for the BRILLIANT charity, Brainchild.

The goal is simple but without the help of the Australian public, will be hard. Jimmy hopes to raise over $300,000 and bring smiles and hope to all the kids suffering from cancer.

He may only be 20 years old, but hes inspired, motivated and READY to walk over 18,000km to make a change!"
