Cute as a Button!

I made this buttercream cake a few months ago but I have never posted it here. This cake has been one of my most popular cake – ever. I would have never imagined that! I “think” that “Miso Bakes” originally started the cute as a button thing but of course, I am not 100% sure.

Not only do I love the cascade of buttons, I LOVE how you randomly place the pearls…it looks like they just have fallen there :) Plus, how cute is the little white thread coming through some of them! Too adorable!
