I was so stoked when Ana asked me to come on board for this wonderful collaboration! It was such a privilege to be involved in a project that honors MOMS! What could be better than saying it with…FLOWERS!
I chose CURLY CYCLAMEN because it’s simple beauty, ethereal look despite being a simple house plant. I elevated the simple flowers by adding metallic silver and gold on a stenciled lace design, outlined, and brushed with royal icing. The silver and gold embroidery reminded me of an old clutch that my Mom used to have.
For the flower design, I did a more botanical approach in arranging the flowers. I used stylized snow berries, hebe leaves, and some pulled sugar flowers.
It’s been an AWESOME experience to be among the very best in the industry…Thank you again, Ana and Eva, for organizing this wonderful collaboration! It was such an honor!
