I made this cake to celebrate my niece’s 5th Birthday. It was a bit of a departure from my normal style, but Kathleen asked for a sparkly, girly princess cake. Her skirt was sculpted from three 6" chocolate cakes, and layered with salted chocolate buttercream, and her torso was sculpted from sugarpaste. Her head was also sculpted from sugarpaste and hand painted. She stood 18" tall and was 100% edible.
