Birthday cake for my boyfriend’s niece and her carnival-themed birthday party. The tent went through many stages : first I was going to tape it off with painters tape and airbrush for perfect crisp lines, then I decided to not bother and just airbrush for a softer look, but that was too soft, so I decided to go over it with washes of color for a pretty watercolor effect. The sideshow banners are gumpaste panels painted with gel colors and vodka.
