This cake I made for my wonderful Mum for Mother’s Day earlier this year. The cake itself is a chocolate Madeira cake and filled with chocolate ganache – Mine & Mum’s favourite! It was my first time using roses and lace on a cake… So I was pretty nervous about making it, I had to keep saying to myself “and breathe!”

My Mum absolutely loved the cake and has even kept the roses :)
