Carved from three 9" square vanilla cakes and layered with vanilla seed buttercream. This cake presented me with so many ‘firsts’: First handbag cake, first attempt at quilting, and first time using moulds (ordered from America!). I was pleased with how it turned out. The pearls were brushed with edible lustre and the chain and designer motif were hand painted with edible gold paint. Happy Birthday Carole!
