In the Night Garden Cake with 100% edible figures..:)

- Both my kids are crazy about the series – In the night Garden.They are the most loving sister and brother during the show time . I dont know what is so magical about this series and I never found the characters Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka and Tombliboos cute, but my kids think the other way. My daughter and son wanted In the night garden theme cake for their B day party.All characters are edible and made out of gum paste.I had a few challenge with the cake as stupid me made the base of two tier cake a fluffy sponge cake and the top tier – mud cake started crushing the bottom tier. Thanks for all the suggestions made by fellow cake decorators on my forum.I some how managed to fix it by adding some extra fondant below the bottom tier by lifting the whole cake ( Yes, after decorating… It was a tedious challenging task but I was left with no other option). Finally, it was kind of stable.You can the tower leaning to one side.. Well, you learn new things with each cake and you learn from mistakes.Will never make the base a sponge cake…Will always stick to mud cake.
