I was asked to make this cake by someone who had seen a picture on google of a similar design. I was very worried about the shape until I noticed the wooden cat ornament at my nans house. I was much easier to carve when I had a 3d model to work from!
Once the cat was carved I had great fun painting him and doing the finishing touches. It’s one of my favourite cakes yet. He’s adorable 😊
