I made this cake last week for a lovely couple who married in Bath. They wanted a very traditional look and a very traditional rich fruit cake filling! I am not often asked to make this style anymore and hardly ever get asked for three tiers of fruit cake. It reminds me of how wedding cakes used to look. I do like the classic styles.x
