This cake was for an audio industry expo, & the promoters (Ultimate Marketing) requested that I create a Cerwin Vega Subwoofer & an Okur line individual speaker by DB Speakers in cake. They brought me the actual speakers which was VERY helpful, as I was able to cast stamps on the small speaker to create the Okur logo imprint. I love the picture with the cake & the real speakers together!

The promoters told me that someone actually broke something on one of the cakes at the event before they cut them, because they thought it was a really speaker & tried to turn a knob or something! Haha! The national rep for Cerwin Vega was there & he said in his 30 years of industry experience he had never seen a promoter do a cake like that for an expo. He said it was extremely classy & creative on their part, so I was honored to help make them look so good to their vendors!

The subwoofer is a red velvet cake with white chocolate buttercream filling & dark chocolate ganache. The speaker is a strawberry cake with strawberry white chocolate buttercream filling & dark chocolate ganache. The board is fondant hand-distressed & painted to look like a wood floor.
