It was Mother’s Day here in the UK yesterday, so I made this cake for my lovely mum :-)

It’s 6 inches in diameter (but on a massive plate!) and is three layers of vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream inbetween.

The pattern on the cake is modelling chocolate and I made the flower from fondant.
