Spring Has Sprung Cake & Cupcake Tower
I made this cake & cupcake tower as a surprise treat for the teachers and staff at the school where my son teaches 5th grade. French vanilla cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling. Covered in marshmallow fondant. The cupcakes are dark chocolate with buttercream frosting. I was inspired by Peggy Does Cake’s (isn’t everyone) flower border on her unicorn cake. I also used Royal Bakery’s tutorial to make the little flower pot. Thanks Lesley! Spring letters cut out with exacto knife, and the robin, nest, and egg cut out with my cricut cake. Thanks for looking!

This is adorable!! I love that you used the flower as the I. Super cute.
Thank you ladies for your sweet comments!
I ADORE the lettering and tiny flower pot on top! :)
Thanks Becky! It was a hit with my son’s fellow teachers. He thought it would be too pretty for them to cut, but when he had a break and came to get a piece of cake it was all gone!
Nice!
Thank you SarahBeth!!

Thank you Wallace! Wish it was spring already!!! Such a long winter!!

Toni these letters are incredible!!! Did you cut them or are there cutters out there I don’t know about??
Thanks sweetie! No, I didn’t have a cutter for these letters. I made a template, and cut them out with an Xacto knife.
