A pink magical princess themed 5th birthday cake fit for a princess birthday girl.
Crown and wand edible fondant.
The top tier a dummy (added for height) and the bottom tier vanilla and strawberry sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve filling.
Covered with fondant and fondant decorations. (Flowers, hearts, pearl balls, bow, crown and wand).
Wanted to attempt a polka dot effect on cake board (last attempt a disaster), pleased with this cake board and it worked!
All though happy with overall effect I wish the pink had been slightly lighter as feel its a little to dark from what I visualised for the cake.
