A hobby that stems from my 2 children and the enjoyment I get from making imaginative magical cakes for them.

Completely self taught and through trial and error I attempt to achieve what I set out to. Some times it works, a lot of the time it doesn't but I enjoy it never the less.

When my son turned two , he loved watching Roary the Racing Car, this led to me deciding to create a cake for the first time, that was 6 years ago and I now have a kitchen cupboard bursting with tools and equipment, sky plus full of recorded cake programmes and more imagination and creativity to produce cakes for family and friends from children's wow birthday cakes ( the kind that make their faces light up) to sport themed cakes to pretty flower, butterflies etc cakes. The arrival of my daughter and her 1st Birthday gave me the incentive to make my 1st tiered cake and soon after my sons 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory tiered cake.
In our house if there is an opportunity for cake to be made then I can't wait to get started.
My DISNEY 'Finding Nemo' presented new challenges (cake pop coral, airbrushing the sea, using piping gel for sea effect).

Best start planning/drawing and practising some cakes :-)

IF ITS TIME TO BAKE, IT IS TIME FOR CAKE :-D
