This was my first wedding cake and the TRAVEL element was definitely a test! Not from the design but the fact that I was coming home from holidays to have 2 days to do it and my flight was delayed nearly 1 day! I did this cake from scratch in 15 hours (it was 2 tiers of chocolate biscuit cake). That was the first half, the cake was then collected by the bridesmaid and brought on a 2 hour FLIGHT from Dublin to the south of Spain! Thankfully it all went well in the end :)
