At A Cake for all Reasons I like to do my bit for charity when possible. Following that tradition I donated a raffle prize of a box of hand decorated cupcakes to the Sonia Rayner fundraising Zumbathon event. Sonia sadly died suddenly in January this year, aged just 33, leaving her partner and 3 young children. The fundraiser was a great success and we understand a significant sum was raised. That money will go into a trust fund for the children in the hope that life can be made just a little bit easier. Our little prize was won by Lorraine, and it just so happens to be her lovely husband Frank’s birthday today. He enjoys fishing, hence the theme. So a great big WELL DONE (*cheers and claps) to all those involved in the Zumbathon, including Lorraine, MUCH LOVE to Sonia’s family (**hugs***), and a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY (*hip hip hooray*) to Frank.
