For a man who loves fishing, chillies, frogs, ale and rock ‘n’ roll and drives an XK150, how does it all come together on one cake? I didn’t get to the catapult regrettably! Happy Birthday Geoff Small who turned 70 at the weekend and many thanks to his wife Jane for the photos and brief for this 9" boozy fruit cake. Jane suggested some blue suede shoes and so I decided the frog would wear them! I will shortly be posting a couple of albums of this in the making. The car was a nice challenge. I had been provided with a Dinky model of a Jag (slightly different model) and photographs of the actual car and innids which was a massive help. I have made a tutorial for the Jaguar car. The chillies are made with cold porcelain. I used my own chillies as ‘models’ to make these.
