Chevron cake "Katie"

Here is my new Chevron cake “Katie”. I made this cake using Jessica Harris’s Craftsy class “Simply modern cake design”.
It was my first double barrel cake and now I’ve learnt from my mistake, I should be putting extra support. I have to admit, it wasn’t perfect ( you can’t see it on the photo) it was slightly lob sided. Still I am feeling very bad about it, I didn’t have time to fix it. But I like this cake for it’s design and colours.

Great colours and awesome flowers! Love how you did the decorator’s trick of covering whatever lopsidedness you had, with the placement of your flowers – so very clever and a nice quick save. This way you CANNOT see it at all =D
