I don’t usually do a cake for my own Birthday. This year however, I had some left over light fruit cake mixture from my daughter’s teapot cake (our birthdays are just 9 days apart) so I took the opportunity to do this little cake for myself!!! I think that this cake really reflects me: feminine with all the ruffles, flowers and piped embroidery but also a little vintage like me at the considerable age of 46!!!!!! Mind, even at 46 I still feel very young at heart!!! Hope you like it!!
