I made this cake for my son’s 9th birthday – he requested “A big eyed alien.” :) The lower part is based off of Viva La Cake’s adorable Girly Astronaut Cake. Joly was sweet enough to give me permission to re-create some of her design, she’s such a doll! The alien topper is gumpaste with a styrofoam core as well as the 2 large planets on wires.
