Red red orchids…. The theme called for a white and gold multi layered cake with red flowers on it. A picture of a similar cake done by an international baker was the challenge raised by Monica Lal sister of the groom. 100 petals in all for 20 flowers.. Each delicate flower taking over 20 minutes of work. And that’s just the flowers. Patience is an acquired virtue but the end result is rewarding.
