This last requrest has me stumped -

10inch square deep fruitcake – covered in almond paste and fondant.
80th birthday cake for a male.

Client (wife) would like cake topper to represent her husbands lifelong dedication to their refrigeration business (repairs). ??? Wow – that’s a toughie!

She is happy for it to be a bit quirky but to say my mind is BLANK is an understatement.

I don’t want to just stick a refrigerator on the top – so was hoping a few more brains might help my quest

A witty/quirky birthday greeting?? – eluding to the CHILL???

Iceberg & couple of penguins…. “Still chilin’ at 80” ?? – not so happy with this – but you get the drift

I like the iceberg penguin idea and the catch phrase, “Still Chilin’ at 80”. I think it’s cute.
How about making the penguin look like the birthday boy?
I kind of like doing silly/whimsical for older folks. I just want to see them smile.
