Americolor gel colours

just did a quick Google and found it here on Amazon…. Didn’t see if they have your particular colour…. I have them but I got them from the US (and I am not in the UK), did not know they were banned but they are not really neon… They are strong colors, electric but will not come out neon in the term we know it!

ah interesting… well in that case, id only use these for when im dong non edible modelling like cold porcelain etc. but I speak to a lot of people from USA and they all use it… so its down to each country’s health and safety regulations etc,.

Like you I Shall still use it for non-edible bits. I love the stuff, it gives such bright colours!x

Try Spectrum colours, I use Americolor but I find the Spectrum electric colours brighter.

They were allowed in the UK but not any more

One of the ingredients that’s not allowed – sodium benzoate from memory – is allowed in the uk but in those bright red glace cherries alone. Somehow putting it in other food items makes it unsafe apparently, though in cherries it’s fine (yeah right)
