I’m looking into buying an airbrush! So, I want to know what one you have, how you like it and what the price was (if you don’t mind sharing). Thanks!

Hi – I have a dinkydoodle airbrush which I bought from Dawn herself at the Cake and Bake show last September. I can’t remember how much it cost but it was at the Cake and Bake show so I went with one of Dawn’s packages which included some colours and DVD’s as well. I love using it, and Dawn also has numerous YouTube videos which are all very helpful. There is a wide range of colours to choose from and you can mix the colours to make your own as well. Hope this helps in some way, if you have any specific questions please do let me know.

Dinky doodles is fab, I’ve used it even though I don’t own one. I have an IWATA and love mine :) I use both Dinkydoodle colours and Kopycolor colours too.

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

I have Cassie Brown´s Airbrush, but just arrived and I haven´t tried yet. I never used one so I don´t know if it´s a good one.
Can you gave us some tips?

I recommend Dinkydoodle! I don’t remember the price, it was a package with a DVD but was bought it as part of my business starting grant (though I think it was around £140). It really is worth the price though, I use it on all of my cakes :)

When I was looking for my first airbrush, people told me that Grex airbrushed were the best! I looked at the prices and they seemed so expensive. I wasn’t even sure that I would really use an airbrush (or like it) so I wound up buying an inexpensive Testor Aztek. And I HATED it. I tried and tried to use it, but it did nothing but spatter and spew all over. I threw it all in the cabinet. Then a few years ago I went to an ICES convention near me. There were a lot of airbrush vendors in the room, all with try before you buy" stations. They all worked SO much better than mine (even when I was using them)! I tried the Grex there and it was so nice, but still expensive. I would up buying a badger system that I liked really well and I used it successfully for a few years and actually my airbrushing improved. A few months ago I finally broke down and bought that Grex though. And it is just as wonderful as I remembered.

Financially I would have been better off to have bought the expensive one in the first place.

I highly recommend the Wimzy Creations AirBrush Pro System! I have been using it for a little while now and there isnt anything better for the price. I got it from Cake Supplies 4 U. I let all my friends try it and they agree; its wonderful!
